Schmitt Wins GOP Nomination for U.S. Senate

(MISSOURINET) – Attorney General Eric Schmitt is the Republican nominee for Missouri’s U.S. Senate race.
He easily defeated Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler and former Governor Eric Greitens for the nomination.
Schmitt will take on Democrat Trudy Busch Valentine in the General Election.
Nearly 48-million dollars has been spent so far in Missouri’s U.S. Senate race, much of that was invested to ensure a Greitens defeat.
