Scrub Seal on Route 13 in Daviess and Harrison Counties Begins Thursday

Crews working on the series of scrub seals projects across Northwest Missouri are about to move to a new section of Route 13, this time in Daviess and Harrison counties.

Crews with Vance Brothers, Inc. are completing the scrub seal on Route 13 in Caldwell and Daviess counties, between Route 6 and the Ray County line, and plan to start the scrub seal on Route 13 in Daviess and Harrison counties between U.S. Route 69 at Bethany and Route 6 near Gallatin on Thursday, July 30.

They anticipate they will be working on that section of Route 13 through August 10.

During these scrub seal operations, the roadway will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car directing motorists through the work zone. Drivers will experience delays as they must wait for a pilot car. Drivers entering from a side road onto the route being sealed must also wait for a pilot car.

The full slate of scrub seal projects across 13 counties in Northwest Missouri is expected to be done by early October.
