A rainy week has impacted the schedule for several scrub seal projects in Buchanan County.
Crews from Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, hope to finish up Route FF this week, if weather allows.
Once completed, they’ll move to Route 31 between U.S. Route 169 and U.S. Route 36.
Route 31 should take two days to complete.
Next, they expect to begin work on U.S. Route 169 between Route FF and the Clay County line on Wednesday, June 3, which is scheduled to continue for two weeks.
During the scrub seal operation, the roadway will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car directing motorist through the work zone.
These are part of a larger project to seal roads across 13 counties in Northwest Missouri.
