Scrub Seal Work Hits Clinton County

A scrub seal project to address several routes across Northwest Missouri continues this week in Clinton County.
Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began the scrub seal on Route 33 between Route 116 and the Clay County line Wednesday.
Crews plan to complete Route 33 in approximately two days.
After Route 33 they will move to Route PP between Route 33 and U.S. Route 69.
During each of these scrub seal operations, the roadway will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car directing motorist through the work zone.
Drivers will experience delays, both directions, as they must wait for a pilot car.
Drivers entering from a side road onto the route being sealed must also wait for a pilot car.
These are part of a larger project to seal roads across 13 counties in Northwest Missouri.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
