Semi Overturns Monday in Andrew County

A semi overturned Monday morning in Andrew County.
According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 63-year-old Roger L. Stewart of Rich Hill, Missouri was driving a Peterbilt 389 south on I-29, 7 miles north of St. Joseph. At 9:18 am on Monday, the vehicle and its towed unit traveled off the west side of the interstate and then returned. Unfortunately, the towed unit struck a guardrail causing the truck to overturn onto its driver’s side and stop on the east side of the roadway. The towed unit came to rest in the median.
Stewart was not wearing a safety device and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Mosaic Life Care by Andrew County EMS.
