Senator Roy Blunt Reflects on Missouri’s Bicentennial

As Missouri celebrates its Bicentennial today (Tuesday) in Jefferson City, U-S Senator Roy Blunt says you can’t talk about American history without talking about Missouri history:
Bicentennial events will take place all day today in Jefferson City. The U-S Postal Service will be unveiling the Missouri Statehood stamp, and the Missouri Capitol’s first floor will be open to visitors to leave notes in the Bicentennial Time Capsule. Those notes will be read in 2046 when the capsule will be unsealed and open for public viewing.
