Serious Injury and Weapons Charges in Andrew County Accident

A man was seriously injured and charged in an accident in Andrew County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, St. Joseph resident 37-year-old Wesley G. Parker was driving north on Route CC when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jennifer L. Eiman of Savannah in a head-on collision at 6:42 am Tuesday.

Parker’s vehicle stopped in the roadway, but Eiman’s vehicle traveled off the west side of the road into private property where it struck a bench before coming to rest in a ditch.

Eiman was minorly injured and taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

Parker was charged with felony unlawful possession of a firearm, felony unlawful use of a weapon, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of THC wax, felony not having a valid operators license, misdemeanor possession of a defaced firearm, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, failure to drive on the right half of roadway resulting in an accident, and not wearing a seat belt.

He was released to KU Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
