Shawnee Woman Racks Up Charges Fleeing Monday Evening

A Shawnee, Kansas woman is facing a long list of traffic related charges after fleeing police Monday evening in Atchison County, Missouri.
Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Shawnee, Kansas resident Amy B. Hamilton was arrested at 7:53 P.M. Monday in Atchison County on charges of class E felony resisting arrest by fleeing, class B felony driving while intoxicated, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, not having valid license plates, failing to stop at a stop sign, speeding, failing to drive on the right half of a roadway, following to closely, not having a valid license, and careless and imprudent driving.
Hamilton was booked into the Atchison County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
