Shootings at Catholic Abbey Prompts Sisters to Build Wall

A series of shootings at a Catholic abbey in Missouri has prompted the sisters who live there to take action for their own safety. Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, near Gower, has been the target in a series of shootings. The first in July 2019, two this past February and the most recent on March 24th of this year.

Nobody was injured, but Sister Scholastica Radel (Ray-dll) says they realized these shootings were not random or accidental.

The sisters hired a construction company to build an eight-foot wall around part of the property.
