Smithville Woman Arrested This Morning on Driving Charges in Clay County

A Smithville woman was arrested early this morning in Clay County on a trio of driving charges.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Laura K. Richards was arrested on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and failure to drive within a single lane.
Richards was taken to the Riverside Police Department and later released.
