Some Northwest Missouri Towns Along Missouri River Concerned about Low River Levels

Some northern Missouri communities along the Missouri River are concerned about low river levels affecting their water supply, including St. Joseph. Buchanan County commissioners have written to Congressman Sam Graves, expressing concern about the level in St. Joseph, which is at 4.29 feet.
The U-S Army Corps of Engineers’ John Remus (pronounced REE-miss) says as of now, there are no water access issues at St. Joseph or any other municipality along the river:
