South Dakota Man Arrested on Nine Driving Charges in Atchison County

Troopers report the arrest of a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, man on nine charges Tuesday evening in Atchison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 42-year-old Colin M. Sandquist around 5:20 Tuesday night on preliminary charges of felony resisting arrest, felony operating a motor vehicle on a highway with a valid license – a third or subsequent offense, following too closely, making a left turn/u-turn on a divided highway not at an intersection, passing a vehicle on the right half and traveling off the main portion of the road, failure to display valid plates, operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, operating a motor vehicle in a careless or imprudent manner, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Authorities booked Sandquist into the Atchison County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
