South Dakota Woman Injured in DeKalb County Crash Thursday

A Fairfax, South Dakota woman suffered injuries in a DeKalb County crash Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 36, two miles west of Stewartsville, as a vehicle driven by 85-year-old Leona C. Umberger drove eastbound.
Troopers say Umberger drove off into the median, crossed the westbound lanes of U.S. 36, and struck a tree.
Umberger suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.
Authorities say Umberger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
