South Harrison Substitute Teacher Charged With Multiple Criminal Counts
Multiple criminal counts have been filed against a South Harrison substitute teacher.
In a probable cause affidavit filed by the Bethany Police Department, it is alleged that 58-year old Gilman City resident Stephen G. Marshall had physical contact with six female students between the ages of 12 and 13 years old between August, 2020 and December, 2021 at South Harrison High School. The Information filed against Marshall said the contact was offensive or provocative and caused emotional distress to the students.
The Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney has filed six counts of Felony Harassment in the First Degree and ten counts of misdemeanor assault of a special victim against Marshall.
A warrant has been issued for Marshall’s arrest. Bond is set at $100,000 cash only.
