University of Missouri Extension and the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council are hosting a series of soybean walks this month, including a visit to a field outside Saint Joseph. The walk through the Ferguson field on Pickett Road will take place the morning of August 8th. Extension agronomist Wayne Flanary highlights what he’ll discuss during the walk.
Flanary will be joined by a plant pathologist.
Extension agronomist Wayne Flanary notes that corn tar spot may also be an item of discussion. The soybean walk through the Ferguson field outside Saint Joseph begins at 9 a.m. on August 8th. Registration is encouraged but not required by e-mailing Flanary.
MU Extension and the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council will also co-host a crop and forage chat near Palmyra the morning of August 10th.
