A man from St. Joseph resisted arrest after being stopped for a DWI.
According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Steven C. Strong was arrested at 4:34 pm in Buchanan County.
Preliminary charges include a felony DWI, felony resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving, and a registration violation.
Strong was taken to the Buchanan County Jail for a 24-hour hold.
