St. Joe PD in Right Place at Right Time To make Shooting Arrest

Police in St. Joseph were in the right place at the right time early this (Wednesday) morning to make an arrest after shots were fired.

According to reports, St. Joseph Police conducted a traffic stop at about 2:30 A.M. at 13th and Hickory Street. While on that stop officers reported hearing gunshots nearby and then witnessed a vehicle take off at a high rate of speed.

Officers pursued that vehicle until it was ultimately disabled. At that point they say several suspects fled the vehicle on foot.

Police say they arrested two men, who have yet to be publicly identified, and recovered a handgun from that vehicle.
