St. Joe Schools Going To Hybrid Schedule

At an emergency meeting Monday, the St. Joseph Board of Education voted to move the school district to a hybrid model of in-person and online classes.

In-person classes are being held today in the district but there will be no classes the rest of the week to allow staff to prepare for the new hybrid model of teaching.

Starting on Monday, October 12 St. Joseph Pre-K and elementary students will begin going to in-person classes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Middle and High school students with last names starting with A through K will attend class in person Monday and Thursday’s, while students with names starting with L through Z will be in-person on Tuesday and Friday’s.

All students will be virtual learning on Wednesdays.

Hillyard students will attend classes in-person four days a week and the changes will not affect Virtual Academy students, whose schedule remains unchanged.
