St. Joe Teen Arrested On String of Driving Charges

A St. Joseph teen is facing a list of charges after an early morning arrest today (Friday).

According to Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 19-year-old St. Joseph resident Blakely L. Wertin at 4:57 A.M. on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, failing to drive in a single lane, driving while intoxicated with a person under the age of 17 in the vehicle, failing to place a vehicle not in motion as near the right hand side as possible, and was found to be wanted on a St. Joseph warrant for stealing.

Wertin was booked into the Platte County Detention Center to await bond.
