St. Joe Teen Resists Arrest Making Traffic Stop Worse

A teen from St. Joseph resisted arrest Monday night, making a traffic stop worse.

According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Nathan T. Lawson was arrested at 9:38 pm on Monday.

Lawson’s preliminary charges include misdemeanor resisting arrest, failure to stop for a steady red signal, careless and imprudent driving, and no front license plate.

Lawson was taken to the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center for a 24-hour hold.
