St. Joe "Walk For The Homeless" This Friday

The annual St. Joseph “Walk For The Homeless” is coming up this Friday, November 3 in downtown St. Joseph.

Participants will start at the corner of 6th and Messanie and walk the migratory route of the homeless with various stopping points at social service agencies that serve the homeless population. They will also conduct a trash pickup along the route as a gesture of goodwill to the city and downtown businesses.

Registration will open at 4 P.M. with the walk beginning at 4:30 P.M.

The “Walk for the Homeless” raises money to assist the homeless community in St. Joseph to obtain I.D. cards, birth certificates, and transportation.
