St. Joseph City Council Fills Vacant Seat

St. Joseph’s City Council filled its empty District II seat Thursday, selecting Jason Eslinger.

Eslinger, reportedly a district native, grew up and went to school in the area.

While interviewing for the open position, he reportedly expressed an interest in improving the South Side by making it cleaner.

Eslinger also emphasized the importance of helping law enforcement and building up the city to “further” it.

The City Council’s newest member will be sworn in before its next meeting, scheduled for April 15th.
