St Joseph Driver Injured In Winston Accident

A St Joseph driver was injured following an accident in Winston around midday Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 30 year old Derek French was traveling southbound on Highway 69, at Route Y in Winston, and went off the side of the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment, continued through a parking lot, and struck two light poles. The vehicle received extensive damage. He was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
The accident took place at 11:45 Tuesday. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department and the Daviess County Ambulance assisted the Highway Patrol.
