St Joseph Driver Seriously Injured In King City Accident

A St Joseph driver was seriously injured following an accident Thursday morning in King City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 49 year old David Alexander was driving on Highway 169 in King City and went off the side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole and a tree. The impact partially ejected the driver through the windshield.

The driver was taken to taken to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph.

The Gentry County Sheriff’s Department and the King City Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around 6am.
