St. Joseph Man Accused of Murder Bound for Court

A man from St. Joseph is bound for court on murder and weapons charges.

A preliminary hearing was waived for 34-year-old Micheal J. Hadden and an arraignment has been scheduled for November 15, 2021.

Hadden is accused of the second-degree murder of 25-year-old Minda Miller after allegedly shooting her at the intersection of 11th and Seneca on February 23. She died from her injuries a week later.

He faces additional charges of unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Bond was denied back in March due to the belief that he would be a danger to the community. He will remain in custody.
