A Saint Joseph man was arrested on a handful of driving charges Sunday morning in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Jino Joanes was arrested on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated, felony not having a driver’s license, careless and imprudent driving, failure to secure a child less than eight-years-old, and not having valid insurance.

Joanes was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
