St. Joseph Man Enters Guilty Plea on Rape Charges

A man from St. Joseph has entered a plea of guilty to rape charges.
Court documents say 28-year-old Jerez S. Collins is charged with first-degree rape or attempted rape and first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy.
A trial had been scheduled for October 14 back in September. The defendant appeared in court last week and entered a plea of guilty. He will be sentenced on December 2, 2021.
