St. Joseph Man Falls Asleep in Late Monday Crash in Andrew County

A Saint Joseph man suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash late Monday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Business 71, five miles south of Savannah, as a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Sisimit R. Macario drove southbound.
Troopers say Macario fell asleep, went off the west side of the road, struck a culvert, and struck a road sign.
Macario suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph.
Authorities say Macario was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
