St. Joseph Man Injured in I-29 Crash Monday Morning

A Saint Joseph man was injured in a Monday morning crash in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, two miles north of Saint Joseph, when a vehicle driven by 74-year-old James D. Gossett was heading southbound.

Troopers say Gossett was heading northbound, in the southbound lane, and struck the left front of a southbound vehicle driven by 35-year-old Bolckow resident Matthew W. Rosenbohm.

Gossett’s vehicle would ultimately overturn onto its top before coming to a rest.

He was taken to Mosaic, in Saint Joseph, for treatment of moderate injuries.

No injuries were listed for Rosenbohm.

Troopers say both men were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
