St. Joseph Man Injured in I-29 Crash Wednesday Afternoon

A Saint Joseph man was injured in a northbound Platte County crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, at mile marker 26.8, when a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Faucett resident Donna M. Wilson was heading northbound.

Troopers say Wilson slowed to observe a horse on the overpass.

Another northbound vehicle being driven by 22-year-old Saint Joseph resident Jaime R. Caamano-Pardiso then overtook and struck Wilson’s vehicle before ultimately coming to a rest in the median cables.

Caamano-Pardiso suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Medical Center for treatment.

No injuries were listed for Wilson.

Troopers say both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
