St. Joseph Man Injured in Thursday Crash

Troopers report a Saint Joseph man suffered injuries in a Buchanan County crash Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 169, a mile south of Saint Joseph, as a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Albert J. Jackson drove northbound.

Authorities say Jackson stopped in traffic due to motor vehicle congestion when another northbound vehicle driven by 55-year-old Gower resident Roger E. Ferris struck his rear bumper.

Jackson sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care for minor injuries.

Troopers say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
