St. Joseph Man Killed in Sunday Motorcycle Crash

A Saint Joseph man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 169, two miles south of Union Star, when a motorcycle driven by 64-year-old Mark D. Stickler was heading southbound.
Troopers say Stickler was struck by an oncoming northbound vehicle that traveled across the center line.
Stickler was ejected from his motorcycle and was taken to Mosaic for treatment.
He was later pronounced dead around an hour after the crash, according to authorities.
Troopers say Stickler was wearing proper safety equipment at the time of the crash.
