St. Joseph Man Killed in Tuesday Crash in Kansas

A Saint Joseph man died in a Tuesday morning crash in Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 8:35 Tuesday morning, on U.S. 36, as a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Raymond Sauter collided with a slowed tractor-trailer.

Authorities say the tractor-trailer initially slowed due to another vehicle on the side of the road looking for a loose dog.

Troopers say Sauter was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Authorities listed no other injuries.
