St. Joseph Man Transported by Life Flight After Ringgold County Accident

A St. Joseph, Missouri man was life flighted following an accident Monday morning in Ringgold County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that 40-year old Alemu Enguday Temesgen of St. Joseph was northbound when he ran a stop sign a the intersection of Highway 2 and P27. Eighteen year old William Allen O’Conner of Clearfield was east bound at the intersection and was struck by Temesgen on the passenger side.
Temesgen was transported to a Kansas City hospital by Life Flight. O’Conner was taken to Ringgold County Hospital.
