St. Joseph Motorcyclist Killed in Sunday Accident

A St. Joseph motorcycle driver has died following an accident Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, the accident happened at about 2 P.M. Sunday when a motorcycle was driving westbound on south 16th Street. At the intersection with Lafayette Street a car pulled into that motorcycle’s path and the two vehicles collided.

Law Enforcement says the operator of the motorcycle died at the scene of the accident, while the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities have not released any named involved in the accident, but say their investigation is continuing.
