St. Joseph Pedestrian Struck on I-29 Early Monday

Troopers report a Saint Joseph pedestrian suffered injuries in an early Monday accident in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident happened around 12:24 Monday morning on I-29, two miles north of Faucett, as a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Saint Joseph resident William M. Anei headed northbound.
Authorities say Anei’s vehicle struck the right arm of 38-year-old Megan J. Mooney as they walked southbound on the east fog line of the northbound lanes.
Mooney suffered moderate injuries and ultimately sought treatment at Mosaic Hospital in Saint Joseph.
