St Joseph Police K-9 Killed

St. Joseph K-9 Officer, Max, was killed in the line of duty.

Max was helping officers Wednesday night at the 5100 block of Barber Street when the suspect who had barricaded himself inside a house shot and killed the 2-year-old dog that had served on the Special Response Team.

The 20-year-old suspect is in custody.
