Saint Joseph Police are investigating an early morning shooting and stabbing.

Reports say police were called to the 3100 block of Mitchell Avenue early this morning in response to reports of shots fired.

Authorities say they found a shell casing.

Police say they also responded to an alleged stabbing in the 200 block of East Linn around 3:00 this morning.

Authorities located a man with non-life threatening injuries and transported him to Mosaic for treatment.

No arrests have currently been made.
