St. Joseph Woman Injured in I-35 Crash This Morning in Clay County

A Saint Joseph woman suffered injuries in a Clay County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 7:13 this morning on southbound I-35, at mile marker 30.6, as 41-year-old Cameron resident David W. Martin slowed for traffic.

Troopers say 28-year-old Joanna M. Archer overtook and struck the rear of Martin’s vehicle.

Archer suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.

Authorities listed no injuries for Martin.

Troopers say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
