St. Louis State Lawmaker Asking Missouri Governor to Extend COVID Election Protocols

A Missouri Democratic lawmaker who represents St. Louis City wants the governor to extend the COVID-19 election protocols to the spring 2021 elections. State Representative Donna Baringer says the pandemic will extend into the spring elections

Governor Parson signed the bipartisan bill into law, which covered the August and November 2020 elections. Baringer says that bill saved lives and preserved the integrity of the vote. Baringer tells Missourinet that Governor Parson’s office has told her that Parson will NOT sign an executive order, citing alleged fraud in other states in 2020.

Missouri lawmakers return to Jefferson City on January 6.
