Stanberry Driver Seriously Injured In Nodaway Co Accident

Sunday evening’s weather was a primary factor of a one vehicle accident that included serious injuries for a Stanberry driver. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 37 year old Cassie Edson was driving east on Route M in Nodaway County, just east of the Route N junction, when her vehicle began to slide on a snow covered roadway. The vehicle crossed the center of the roadway, went off the other side of the road, and hit a tree. The vehicle eventually went airborne and overturned. It landed on its driver’s side.

The driver was taken to Mosaic Life Care following the accident. The accident took place just after 7:45pm Sunday.

The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
