The state says nearly 200 Missouri businesses have been approved as medical marijuana facilities.

The Department of Health and Senior Services completed its review of all medical marijuana facility applications and businesses in areas such as Cameron, Chillicothe, and Gallatin were granted certification.

Area businesses were also denied certification for failure to meet minimum qualification, results of application scoring, analysis for substantial common control, or application withdrawal.
