State Of Missouri’s Housing Market: Homes Are Disappearing Quickly

(Missourinet) Missouri realtors are having a hard time keeping up with the pace of buyers who are looking.

It’s been an ongoing problem that Andrea Sheridan, President of the Missouri Association of Realtors, says is because houses are not staying on the market for very long.

Sheridan says the so-called ‘bidding wars’ on homes might be a thing of the past, but homes routinely seen multiple offers.

Interest rates are currently about 8.3% for a 30-year fixed rate mortgage. Sheridan says that the days of 3 or 4% interest rates are ‘never returning.’
