State Representative Doug Richey of Excelsior Springs Discusses Upcoming Missouri House State Budget Debate

(MISSOURINET)- The Missouri House of Representatives is expected to focus its attention this week on a 51-billion-dollar state budget proposal. Staffing shortages have instead left some of these patients in jails and hospitals. State Representative Doug Richey, a Republican from Excelsior Springs, says he opposes the plan…

State Representative Deb Lavender, of St. Louis County, attempted to boost the base pay from 15 to 21 dollars per hour, to help recruit and retain workers to take care of patients.
