State Representative Incumbents File For New Terms

5 candidates filed for the 6th District Congress seat up for election on the first day of filing.

Republican incumbent Sam Graves has re-filed for the seat. Freddie Griffin Jr of Hamilton and Brandon Kleinmeyer of Kansas City have also field for the Republican nomination. The Democratic candidates include Erik Richardson of Mexico and Rich Gold of Mexico.

All incumbents have re-filed for terms as state representatives for the region. Republicans Jeff Farnan has filed in the 1st District, Mazzie Christensen in the 2nd District, and Danny Busick in District 3. Republican Dean VanSchoiack of Savannah has re-filed from District 9
