State to Honor Fallen Law Enforcement Officers

Governor Mike Parson announced Thursday that the Missouri Capitol Dome and Law Enforcement Memorial in Jefferson City will be lighted blue from sunset Friday, May 3rd to sunrise the next morning in honor of fallen Law Enforcement Officers. 

Additionally, the state will hold its annual ceremony to honor fallen officers at the Missouri Law Enforcement Memorial, not far from the Missouri River. 

This year’s candlelight vigil starts at 8 p.m. Friday, May 3rd. 

A memorial service is set for 10 o’clock the morning after.
