A suspected intruder in Chillicothe allegedly assaulting police.
Chillicothe Police responded to a report of an intruder in the 300 block of Mansur Street.
It was there that a 31-year-old suspect allegedly punched an officer in the face. The intruder had also allegedly assaulted the resident of the home.
The suspect, who was believed to be on drugs was taken into custody.
