Texas Man Injured in Tuesday Crash in Buchanan County

A Texas man was injured in a Tuesday morning crash in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, in Saint Joseph, when a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Beeville, Texas resident Ryan L. Ramirez was heading northbound.

Troopers say Ramirez traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled into the median, and struck the cable barrier.

He was taken to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities say it is unknown if Ramirez was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
