Texas Man Killed in Crash in St. Joseph

ST JOSEPH, MO -A Texas man was killed on Friday night in Buchanan County when he was ejected from his truck during a crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Tomas Ramos of El Paso was eastbound on Mitchell Road in St Joseph just before 9 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the side of the roadway where he struck an embankment. The pickup continued eastbound in the ditch before struck another embankment, at which time Ramos was ejected.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ramos was not wearing a seatbelt.
