The State Task Force Reviewing the Treatment and Support of Sexual Assault Victims is Ready to Hold its Second Online Hearing

The state task force reviewing the treatment and support of sexual assault victims in Missouri will conduct its second public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

The online hearing is from 1 to 3 p.m. The hearing will focus on standards and practices recommendations to support sexual assault victims and conduct investigations. This is the second of four public hearings the task force has scheduled.

The task force is required to submit a report on its findings, including any majority and dissenting opinions to the Governor and General Assembly by Dec. 31, 2021. A link to the hearing will be available at dps.mo.gov.
